DESCRIPTION:Venue 1 (Morristown High School Auditorium), 6:00 PM (Music)\nIn Morris Plains, the sounds of clarinets and trumpets… trombones and cymbals;drums and saxophones are back….played by members of the Morris Plains Community Band…musicians from fourteen to ninety; all having fun playing music together. The band was reconvened in October 2015, and rehearses on Wednesday evenings. We typically perform up to twelve concerts a year in area senior residences, assistedliving facilities, fairs and festivals, concerts in the park etc. The band plays a variety of traditional concert band music, including favorites from Broadway and Hollywood, light classical selections, patriotic songs, and holiday tunes during the winter season.
