First Night® Morris County began in 1992 and is the LARGEST First Night® in New Jersey, attracting nearly 10,000 participants each year. An alcohol-free and substance-free celebration of arts and culture, First Night® Morris County attracts families, seniors, singles and anyone looking for an exciting way to ring in the New Year! It is our pleasure to announce the launch of tickets and the program for the 34th Annual First Night Morris County, the Mid-Atlantic’s largest, family-friendly, alcohol- and substance-free celebration on New Year’s Eve.
Morristown Marks 200th Anniversary of Lafayette’s Farewell Tour
Morristown will play a key role this week in a national commemoration of General Marquis de Lafayette’s 1825 Farewell Tour, hosting a series of public events, reenactments and tributes from July 8–14 to mark the bicentennial of his return visit to the United States and honor his legacy in the fight for American independence.
