5:45 PM: Dolce Trio Performing at Venue 20, Macculloch Hall, School Room Gallery – copy
Celebrating its 31st anniversary, the Dolce Trio is widely admired for its spirited, stylistically versatile performances spanning classical and vernacular styles and showcasing a diverse repertoire. Tonight’s program commemorates 250 years of America’s independence with a sampling of music from 18th century Colonial America to the 20th century: European classical music, Scottish/Irish tunes, and a range of American music from fiddle tunes to parlor music. Juilliard trained violinist Dr. Lynn Siebert is joined by outstanding flutist/recorder player Kris Lamb and cellist/orchestral conductor Loni Bach. All have advanced music training, and have performed extensively with multiple chamber ensembles, orchestras and choruses.
